Giverny Park is a 15-acre park located in the heart of Sunsuria City. It serves as the township's central recreational hub and a placemaking spot that fosters community interaction and promotes a healthy lifestyle. The park aims to provide green infrastructure that creates a resilient landscape design capable of adapting to climate change. The design is a modern reinterpretation of Claude Monet's iconic garden in Giverny, France. The park aspires to capture the essence of Monet's artistic style, creating a serene and picturesque environment that inspires creativity and tranquillity. The park's design elements, such as the water lily pond, the feature bridge, and the vibrant flower gardens, are reminiscent of Monet's iconic garden in Giverny, France. Emulating Monet’s fascination with water and reflection, the park includes tranquil water features such as ponds and streams. These reflective surfaces not only mirror the surrounding landscape but also create a sense of calm and serenity for park visitors. The incorporation of lush greenery and meandering pathways that weave through different garden settings. This design not only enhances aesthetics but also promotes connectivity and exploration within the park. The vibrant flower gardens and thoughtfully placed seating areas create a serene and picturesque landscape that invites visitors to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty of nature. The park hosts various events and activities throughout the year, such as outdoor movie screenings, fitness classes, and cultural festivals. It also features amenities like a playground, a jogging track, and a multi-purpose court, catering to the diverse needs and interests of all residents.
